My bus driver in the mornings at 6:35 am plays our local christian rock station obnoxiously loud. The lyrics to the songs are obviously promoting christianity and the Dj blasts sexist politically biased bull crap constantly. Not only am I very annoyed and have complained several times but I am wondering if I have grounds on which to argue that play ing this music in in violation of my constitutional rights. The bus is funded by tax money thus is tied to government.
Since you have no choice but to listen to it, it serves no educational purpose, and it is likely proselytizing in nature, it sounds like it probably violates the first amendment. You should complain to the school board and if they don’t respond, contact the ACLU.
That is not true what Mccain is saying on christian radio and if you check for yourself you will see why , religion is becoming a political ploy.
i guess christian radio only takes christians….guess they think osama is something else

You should probably major in music or music education. What’s your backup plan? You might want to consider getting an education degree or whatever is needed to become the music director at a church so that you can support yourself in case you aren’t able to do so as a performer.
I have to do a project for school about love and we have to out music on the project, I need to know a love song that talks about God and stuff like that that is like rock or country. It can’t be christian rock or have bad language. Can someone help?
Flyleafs "Broken Wings" is a great song!!!! most of their songs are about God and their rock but I think that this is one of their slowest ones! All Around me is a great one as well but that’s rock,anyway you should check it out,it’s a beautiful song!! Good luck on your project!

I like bands like Underoath (my favorite), blessthefall, Ivoryline, Haste The Day and Silverstein. Based on these christian rock bands can anyone suggest any other christian rock bands worth listening to?
I love Ivoryline! I don’t know about the other bands, but here are some Christian bands I love: Skillet, House of Heroes, Run Kid Run, Search the City, Nevertheless, and of course my favorite, Relient K
